Care and Policies

• Daily home visits (generally one to four visits per day)
• Occasional visits according to your schedule. 
• Dog walking or backyard play at your preference.
• Fresh food, snacks (in accordance with your instructions) and water.
• 25 minutes of outside walks and quality playtime with your pets favorite toys.
• Any special instructions you may have for your pet.
• Administer medication, if required. 
• Light grooming for your dog or cat.
• Clean litter boxes or cages.

• Lots of attention and affection including belly rubs, butt rubs and ear scratches.
• Same diet, including snacks and a regular routine on a daily basis.
• Happiness from staying in their own environment.
• No exposure to illness or parasites from other animals.
• Medications are continued regularly, if required.
• Being totally spoiled as if they were our own!

Schedules must be entered into the Time to Pet portal/app.  It is highly recommended you download the Time to Pet App to your mobile device and please ALLOW notifications for this app to receive your visit updates. 

• Schedules must be submitted by noon on Sundays. 
• Text, voicemail or email requests for visits are not accepted. 
• ACCEPTED visits are a guarantee of service. 
• Payment may be made through the portal, cash, or venmo/paypal/zelle.

HOLIDAY SURCHARGE – Billed at the standard rate plus a fee of $10.00 PER visit.  The following list is considered our holidays:

• New Year's Day
• Easter
• Memorial Day
• 4th of July
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day (*see note below)
• Christmas Eve
• Christmas Day (*see note below)
• New Year's Eve

*Pawsome Petcare is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day for family time. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.  If you schedule consecutive days away that includes any holiday, your pets will be cared for but timing of visits may vary and holiday fee will be applied.  

Any dog in our care is walked on a leash and is not allowed to run free unless in a secure fenced-in yard. If you have an electric fence, collar must be provided, charged and a separate affidavit will be signed at meet and greet. 

We must be in control of your dog at all times. A leash and/or harness along with a collar and proper tags, must be provided for any dog that is walked off your property.  Thank you for your understanding.

If you do not need dog walking or pet sitting for a regularly scheduled visit, please cancel your visit through Time To Pet with as much notice as possible. Please be kind and do not cancel at the last minute unless in case of an emergency or sudden onset of illness. 

Same day cancellations will be charged $10 per visit.

• Daily dog walking clients must pay on the last scheduled day of the week.  
• Payments may be made by cash, local check, Paypal/Venmo (friend and family ONLY),  or through the Time to Pet portal. 
• Pet sitting /Vacation clients must leave payment in full prior to the start of the pet sit, unless a prior arrangement has been made. Checks will not be cashed until pet sit is complete. 
• There is a $30.00 fee charged for any check that is returned for non-payment.

To ensure the safety of your dog, walks are cancelled when local government offices are closed due to inclement weather. If there are no closures, we will get to your home to care for your pet as soon as safety permits.

In the event of thunderstorms, tropical storms or extreme heat/cold dogs will be taken out long enough to relieve themselves and the remainder of the visit will be spent indoors cuddling, playing and having fun.

If you or a family member is home sick we kindly ask that you cancel our service for the day. Being a self owned company we don't get sick days or personal days.  Should we happen to get sick there is a chance we won't be able to provide services for you or anyone else. We do not want to risk bringing home any illnesses to our family. We appreciate your understanding regarding this situation.

In the event of an injury service can continue.
